Figure 16.  Loaded log truck in the Gray’s River watershed 1950.  Cut logs were loaded onto log trucks one at a time.  Logs were typically over 10’ in diameter and required special loading and unloading equipment.  This loaded log truck was taken along the way down the hill to a staging area at Deep River (photo: Wirkkala 1997).
